    Harishchandra Kumar Yadav, an alumnus of our university, was honored by the government for his heroic act in a storm disaster in Nepal this year and was interviewed by well-known international and domestic radio stations.

 

    On March 31, 2019, Harishchandra Kumar Yadav was on his way home from Kathmandu when he was hit by a storm that collapsed a large number of houses, killing dozens of people and injuring many others. When a bus in front of him was overturned, Harish kept calm and acted immediately. He first called for an ambulance, then performed CPR and other emergency rescues. In the following days, he stayed in the disaster area as a volunteer to provide free medicine and treatment for the victims. Harish's heroism and love were praised by the local people and the local government. To this end, he also accepted the global international media Al Jazeera, Nepal's largest radio station Kantipur TV(Kantipur radio) and many other media interviews.

    Harishchandra Kumar Yadav, a graduate of clinical medicine (MBBS) from the international 2011 batch of Xuzhou Medical University, has passed the licence examination for doctors in Nepal. He performed well in our school, won the school-level scholarship for many times, donated blood for five times and donated books to our school library before graduation.
